Charles grew up in Charleston attending Charleston Day School and Porter-Gaud. After a decade working for Fortune 500 Corporations, Charles started Crescent Insurance Advisers in 2010. He empathized with the struggles that both coastal property and business owners endure in seeking proper insurance and saw an opportunity to start a business focused on educating customers about the industry and how it can work for them. Integrity, trustworthiness, and a drive to constantly improve are traits that are central to Charles’ views in life and business. His focus is on the client’s best interest for now and the future.
Charles is a member of the SC Maritime Association, The Propeller Club of Charleston, the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of South Carolina, the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Greater Charleston, and served as President of the Porter-Gaud Alumni Association Board.
